ChatGPT Ads becomes a full advertising solution, the account model simplifies to Hub and Workspace, and your Media Library gets folders inside folders
This release opens a new advertising platform to your locations, cuts the account model down to two layers, and gives your Media Library real folder structure.
ChatGPT Ads Is Now a Full Advertising Solution
ChatGPT Ads started in Flamel as a small pilot. It now uses the same playbook and opt-in pattern you already use for Meta and Google.
Rolling out gradually
ChatGPT Ads must be enabled for your Hub and connected to an ad account before it appears. Ask your Flamel contact to enable it.
What's new:
- Build a ChatGPT Ads playbook with campaigns, ad groups, and ads. Each location opts in with its own budget and dates.
- A dashboard, a Command Center to pause or adjust live campaigns, and analytics down to a single campaign or location.
- Product feed campaigns keep your product details in the ad copy, so one campaign covers a full catalog.
- Conversion tracking reports what an ad produced, not only what it cost.
- Ads waiting on review update every hour. A rejection shows on the playbook's workspace list.
- Hubs that share one ad account across locations still get per-location results. No workspace can see another workspace's campaigns.
Where to find it: ChatGPT Ads in the left navigation. Connect the account under ChatGPT Ads > Configuration.
Two Layers Instead of Three: Hub and Workspace
Flamel used to carry an extra account layer above your Hub. It is gone. Your account model is now a Hub for the brand, and a Workspace for each location.
What's new:
- Your Hub owns product access, admins, workspace count, and the settings your locations inherit.
- Hub admins working inside a location keep every permission their hub role grants.
- A hub admin inside a location opens hub settings with Manage Hub in the account menu.
- Old bookmarks that pointed at the previous account pages land on the correct Manage Hub tab.
- The Workspaces list shows your workspace count against your limit. A hub with no limit set can add workspaces freely.
- A new or restored workspace appears in the table without a page reload.
Where to find it: The account menu in the top corner, then Manage Hub.
Real Ad Previews
What's new:
- Live Preview renders the real ad as Meta builds it, in four placements: desktop feed, mobile feed, Instagram feed, and Instagram Story.
- Hubs can turn any opt-in question into a creative variable. Each location's answer, such as a promo code or a class time, drops into their ad copy and shows in the preview.
Where to find it: Paid Social Ads > Analytics > Ad Creative, and the Live Preview button on any playbook you opted into.
Folders Inside Folders in the Media Library
Your Media Library grew into one long flat list of folders. A folder can now hold other folders.
What's new:
- Drag a folder onto another folder to nest it. Drag it onto a breadcrumb to move it back out.
- Select a mix of files and folders, then use Move to Folder to move the whole selection.
- Everything inside a folder travels with it.
- A folder move cannot cross the line between hub media and workspace media. Moving a file across asks whether to copy it or move it.
- The same folders work across Media, Templates, Concepts, and Blog Ideas.
Where to find it: Media Library.
Smaller Fixes
- Facebook Stories join organic social. Publish or schedule a photo or video Story to your Facebook Page, with a Post or Story toggle in the editor.
- The Google Ads dashboard gained a Recent Opt-Ins feed with status and workspace filters, plus a View all page.
- An Instagram account whose linked Facebook Page lost access is flagged when you connect it, and marked in the account picker.
- Google Reviews attach to the location that owns them, so a workspace filter does not pick up reviews from a shared connection.
- Google Ads and social reporting stay current on busy accounts.
- A newly promoted hub admin keeps their Hub in the Switcher after they focus a location.
- Safari picks up a new version of Flamel right away.
This release was about a new place for your locations to advertise, and a simpler account model.
