- Context — "Caption for a yoga studio's new meditation class" beats "Write a caption"
- Audience — Mention demographics (young professionals vs. retirees)
- Goal — Driving traffic? Announcing? Engagement? Each calls for different copy.
- Volume — Ask for 3 to 5 options rather than one
