Templates

Reusable on-brand layouts for posts, ads, stories, and seasonal content.

Who does what

Hubs create templates and distribute them network-wide. Workspaces use those templates (and can build their own when their role allows).

Pick your side

You build templates and push them out to every workspace in your network.

Create a template

Templates library

Go to Templates in the sidebar, then click Create Template. Design the layout, then mark each element as editable or locked.

Lock the brand elements

Mark colors, fonts, logo, and the overall layout as locked. Mark headlines, images, and details as editable. This keeps every workspace on-brand while still letting them personalize. See Brand Kit for where your approved colors and logos live.

Distribute to your workspaces

Save the template with org-wide visibility. It appears in every workspace's template library automatically, with no manual sharing needed.

Update across the network

Edit the template whenever branding or offers change. Your edits propagate to all workspaces that have used the template. Workspaces see the updated locked elements immediately; their editable customizations are preserved.

Edits affect future uses

Edits to a template do not retroactively change posts that have already been scheduled or published using that template. Only new uses of the template pick up the changes.

Track usage

Open Templates, then Analytics (where shown) to see which templates workspaces lean on most. High-usage templates deserve the most maintenance attention.

Build for recurring content

Templates pay off when they are reused: weekly specials, monthly newsletters, and seasonal promos are the best candidates. One-off templates add library clutter without much payoff.

You use templates your Hub built, and can create your own for your team.

Browse the template library

Open Templates in the sidebar to see everything available to your workspace, including the templates your Hub distributed. Filter by platform or category to narrow the list.

Use a template

Templates library grid

Click a template, then choose Use Template. Customize the editable parts (text, swappable images), then attach it to a post or save it to come back to in Drafts.

Apply a template mid-post

While writing a post in the post editor, click the Templates button, pick a template, and customize it without leaving the editor.

Create your own (if your role allows)

Go to Templates, then Create Template to build a layout for your team.

The brand stays intact

You can edit the parts your Hub marked as editable (text and images you add). The underlying design stays locked, so your content stays on-brand without extra effort.

Maintain the library

Keep your library fresh

A healthy template library is curated, not just large. Retire outdated templates with old branding or expired offers so workspaces do not accidentally use them.

  • Build templates for recurring content like weekly specials and monthly newsletters.
  • Review periodically and retire dated templates with old branding or expired offers.
  • Watch usage so your top-used templates get the refresh and variation investment they deserve.
