Playbooks
Campaign blueprints. The hub configures once, and workspaces opt in with one click.
What playbooks do
Playbooks turn Meta's Campaign, Ad Set, and Ad structure into a reusable blueprint. The hub designs the campaign once, and each workspace deploys it with a single opt-in.
How it works
Hub creates a playbook

A hub admin sets the campaign objective, targeting, budget range, and creative guidelines.
Workspaces browse and opt in
Each workspace picks a playbook from the shop, provides its own details, and clicks Deploy.
Flamel builds the Meta campaign
Flamel assembles the full Meta campaign automatically from the blueprint and the workspace's details.
Both sides monitor results
The hub tracks performance in Command Center. Each workspace watches its own campaigns under My Playbooks.
Pick your side
You design the playbooks that workspaces opt into.
Before you start
Set up Ad Configuration with your audience types, and make sure workspaces have their Meta ad accounts connected.
To add copy variations to an existing dynamic-ad playbook, open the playbook, go to the ad copy section, and add each new headline, body, and description as its own variation. Saved edits apply to future opt-ins.
You opt into playbooks your hub has published.
Before you start
Connect your Facebook and Instagram accounts, add a payment method, and confirm the monthly budget your hub set for you.
Open the playbook shop
Go to Paid Social Ads, open Playbooks, then select the Shop tab to browse everything your hub has published.
Opt in to a playbook
Pick a playbook and follow the opt-in flow. For a full click-by-click reference, see the opt-in walkthrough.
Add your own media (optional)
If the playbook uses workspace-level creative, upload your own images or video during opt-in. Your hub reviews this media before the campaign goes live.
Manage your live campaigns
After deploy, track and adjust your campaigns under Playbooks, then My Playbooks.

Common questions
Targeting
Can workspaces set their own targeting?
Partially. With the paid_ads_management permission, workspaces can adjust their targeting radius (1 to 50 miles) and add custom audiences in Ad Configuration. They cannot change audience types or detailed hub-locked targeting.
Can I change which audience type a workspace uses? Audience types are configured in Ad Configuration, not in the playbook. The playbook picks the audience type at the ad-set level, and each workspace's specific config for that type is pulled at deploy.
How do I grant a workspace more control?
Open Organization, then Permissions, and enable paid_ads_management on the workspace owner's role. Super Admins get it by default.
Creative
Can I override creative that doesn't pass brand standards? Yes. For workspace-level creative, use Request Changes in the review queue. The workspace updates and resubmits until approved. See Managing playbooks.
Can I add copy variations after the playbook is published? Yes. Edits apply to future opt-ins. Open the playbook, go to the ad copy section, and add each new variation.
Why is creative locked once deployed? Meta caches ad assets at the campaign level, so editing in Flamel would not propagate. Use Open in Ads Manager on the opt-in card to edit a live campaign in Meta directly.
Budgets
Can a workspace change its budget mid-campaign? Yes, through Command Center (hub admin) or by editing in Meta Ads Manager. Increases mid-cycle may trigger a prorated Stripe charge if the increase moves the workspace past its monthly budget.
Does committed playbook spend reduce the workspace's monthly budget? Yes. The Budgets page shows committed spend from active playbooks alongside the monthly budget.
What's the minimum budget? $1 per day for Daily, or $5 lifetime for Lifetime. Meta may also enforce its own minimums depending on the objective.
Schedule
Can I extend an active campaign? Yes. Bulk-update end dates in Command Center. Open the ad sets you want to change, select them, and set a new end date.
Why can't workspaces start campaigns immediately? Meta requires ad-set start times at least 24 hours in the future for proper indexing and audience preparation.
Lead capture
Why do I need separate forms per workspace? Each form routes leads to a specific Page Inbox or CRM. One form shared across workspaces would funnel everyone to a single location. See Lead capture playbooks.
My form isn't showing up in Ad Configuration. Open the workspace's Ad Configuration, go to the Lead Capture section, and click Sync Forms. Confirm the form is published (not a draft) and has been copied to the workspace's Page in Meta.
Operations
A workspace's deployment failed. What now? Check the error on the opt-in card. Common causes are a pixel that is not configured, a suspended ad account, or revoked Page permissions. Fix the underlying issue, then have the workspace resubmit.
Can I see how the playbook is performing across all workspaces at once? Open the playbook and go to the Performance tab, or use Command Center.
Can workspaces use Messenger ads? Not currently. Contact support if this is a priority for you.
A franchisee is leaving. What happens to their active playbooks? Follow Close a workspace: cancel their playbooks first, then disconnect socials and delete.
