Keep your franchise network funded and running smoothly. Hub admins set a monthly advertising budget for each workspace, Stripe turns that into a recurring subscription, and workspaces add a payment method so invoices clear automatically every cycle.
How billing works
Hub connects Stripe

The Hub admin connects a Stripe account and configures the fee structure and billing day for the network.
Hub sets a monthly budget
The Hub admin sets a monthly advertising budget for each workspace, which creates a Stripe subscription for that workspace.
Workspace adds a payment method
The workspace owner adds a card, US bank account (ACH), or Stripe Link.
Stripe invoices automatically
On each billing cycle, Stripe generates and charges an invoice on the billing day the Hub set.
Both sides track spend
The Hub admin and the workspace owner each see invoices and payment status in their own Billing views.

To set a workspace budget, follow these steps.
Open the Budgets page
From your Hub, go to Billing and select the Budgets view.
Pick a workspace
Find the workspace you want to fund and open its budget editor.
Set the monthly amount
Enter the monthly advertising budget. This creates or updates the workspace's Stripe subscription.
Save
Save the budget. The workspace is billed this amount on the next billing cycle.
You manage your payment method and see your own invoices.
Add or update the card or bank account on file.
Download invoices and check payment status.
To add or update your payment method, follow these steps.
Open Payment Method
Go to Billing and select Payment Method. Your Hub may also send you a setup link.
Enter your details
Add a credit or debit card, a US bank account, or connect Stripe Link.
Save
Save the method. Future invoices charge it automatically.
To update the billing admin email, go to Billing, then Settings, then Billing Admin Email.
To see your monthly budget and spend, open Billing and select Monthly Budget. To request a budget increase, open Monthly Budget and choose Increase Budget. To download invoices, open Billing and select Invoices.

Common questions
General
How does billing work? Hub admins set monthly budgets for each workspace. Stripe creates a recurring subscription and automatically generates invoices each cycle. Workspaces add a payment method and get charged automatically.
What payment methods are supported? Depending on what your Hub admin has enabled: credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), US bank accounts (ACH), and Stripe Link.
When am I charged? On the billing day set by your Hub admin, for example the 1st of each month. Your next invoice date shows on your Billing dashboard.

How do I start billing workspaces? Hub setup walks through connecting Stripe, the fee structure, the billing day, and then setting workspace budgets.
Can I change the fee structure after setting it up? Yes. Changes apply to future invoices. Existing invoices stay unchanged.
What happens if a workspace's payment fails? The invoice is marked Failed and you can retry it from the Invoices page. Stripe also sends automatic reminders to the workspace.
Can I pause billing for a workspace? Yes. Use the action menu on the Budgets page to pause a subscription. The workspace is not charged until you resume.

How do I add a payment method? Open Billing, then Payment Method, and follow the prompts. Your Hub may also send a setup link.
How do I change the billing admin email? Open Billing, then Settings, then Billing Admin Email.
Can I increase my budget? Yes. Open Billing, then Monthly Budget, then Increase Budget. Pick a monthly increase (permanent) or a one-time increase (this month only).
Where do I find my invoices? Open Billing, then Invoices. You can download a PDF of any invoice.
What if my payment fails? Update your payment method in Billing, then Payment Method. The system retries automatically. If it keeps failing, contact your Hub admin.
Does opting into a playbook cost extra? No. Playbook spend is part of your monthly advertising budget, not on top of it. If a playbook needs more than you have available, you will be asked to increase your budget.
