Map View
See every workspace's studios, radii, ZIP code territories, and excluded areas on one map, with estimated reach.
For Hub Admins
The Map view is a Hub-level view of every workspace in your hub. Studio owners see their own workspace's Locations under Social Media Ads, then Targeting.
The Map view shows where every workspace's ads can reach: each studio with its radius, ZIP code territories, and the areas a workspace excludes. Use it to check coverage across your whole network before you launch or update ads. Open Workspace Variables, then click Map at the top right.
Review Your Coverage
Scan the workspace list
The list beside the map shows every workspace in view with its number of locations, ZIP codes, and excluded areas, plus an estimated reach range. A workspace with 0 locations has nothing for Locations-based ads to target.
Focus on one workspace
Choose a workspace from All Workspaces to show only its territory. The map zooms to its studios, its ZIP code territories, and the areas it excludes.
Sort the list
Use Sort to order workspaces. Dynamic splits the list into In view and Elsewhere based on what the map currently shows, so panning never hides a workspace. Alphabetical and Reach order the whole list, and the arrow button switches between ascending and descending.
Edit a workspace's Locations
Click the pencil on a workspace to open its Locations. Change a radius, turn a studio On or Off, or add an excluded area, then return to the map to check the result.
Read the Map
| On the map | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pin with a mile label | A studio and the radius its ads target. |
| ZIP code outline | A ZIP code territory the workspace targets. |
| Excluded area | Ground the workspace's ads skip, such as a neighbor's territory. |
| Reach range | Meta's estimate of people the workspace's Locations can reach. |
What to Look For
Look for radii from neighboring workspaces that overlap heavily, because both franchisees then bid for the same people. Tighten one radius or exclude the shared area. Look for gaps where no workspace reaches a market you serve, and check that a very small reach is intentional, since a tiny area can make ads expensive to deliver.
The map reflects your Locations, including studios synced from your Google Sheet. See Locations for Ad Targeting to connect a sheet and to send changes to ads that are already running.
