Top Content shows your highest-performing posts in a ranked list. Use it to identify the specific posts (and the patterns behind them) that drove your best results.
Top Content highlights your highest-performing social media posts based on reach, engagement, impressions, and other key metrics. Use this report to identify successful content and uncover patterns you can replicate in future posts.
Open Organic Social > Analyze > Content Insights > Top Content Tab
Top Content displays a ranked list of your best-performing posts for the selected date range. Each post includes performance metrics that help you understand what resonated most with your audience.
Filters
Use filters to narrow the report and focus on specific types of content.
- Platform: all platforms, or a specific one (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X)
- Post Type: all post types, image, video, carousel, text only
- Time period: this week, this month, this quarter, year-to-date, or a custom range
Ranking Metrics
Choose how posts are ranked by selecting a metric at the top of the report.

| Total Impressions | Total number of times the post was viewed |
| Total Engagement | Likes, comments, shares, saves, and clicks |
| Engagement Rate | Engagement relative to reach |
| Franchisee Earned Media Value (fEMV) | Estimated value generated through organic engagement |
| Date (Newest First) | Most recently published content |
| Date (Oldest First) | Earliest published content |
What is fEMV?
fEMV estimates the dollar value of organic social activity based on equivalent paid advertising costs. It is calculated by multiplying organic impressions by the per-platform CPM you configured in the Analytics Overview settings.
Hub-Level View
For Hub Admins, Top Content can be viewed across the entire franchise network.
You can:
- View network-wide top-performing content
- Filter by individual workspaces
- Compare content performance across locations
- Identify successful content that can be replicated elsewhere
This view is especially useful for discovering content strategies that perform well across multiple locations.
