Repurpose Top-Performing Content Across Your Franchise Network
Turn content that already performs well into new marketing opportunities across your franchise network. Use Top Content and Top Ad Library to find winning organic posts and ads, then repurpose those ideas, creative, and local media across other franchise locations.
For agencies and Hub teams managing marketing for multiple locations, Flamel makes it easier to find and use each franchisee's existing media when building ads.
Find Your Top-Performing Organic Content
Flamel's Top Content library shows your highest-performing social posts in a ranked list. Use it to find specific posts that performed well and identify patterns you can replicate across your network.
Open Organic Social > Analyze > Content Insights > Top Content.
For Hub admins, Top Content can be viewed across the entire franchise network. You can:
- View the network's top-performing posts
- Filter results by workspace
- Compare performance across locations
- Identify content that could work for other franchisees
- Find patterns in the types of content that generate strong results
Filter Top Content
Use filters to narrow the results:
- Platform — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, or all platforms
- Post Type — Image, video, carousel, text only, or all post types
- Time Period — This week, this month, this quarter, year-to-date, or a custom range
You can also choose how posts are ranked.
Ranking Metrics
Rank content by:
- Total Impressions
- Total Engagement
- Engagement Rate
- Franchisee Earned Media Value (fEMV)
- Date
Don't only look for the post with the highest number. A post with a smaller audience but an exceptionally high engagement rate may reveal a content strategy worth replicating.
Look for Patterns, Not Just Posts
When you find a high-performing post, look at why it performed well.
Consider:
- What topic was it about?
- Was it an image, video, or carousel?
- Was there a specific offer?
- Did it feature a product, service, customer, or team member?
- Was the content tied to a local event or trend?
- What type of call to action did it use?
- Was the post highly localized?
- Did similar posts perform well for other locations?
The goal is to turn one successful post into a repeatable content idea that other franchisees can adapt to their own audiences.
Find Your Top-Performing Ads
You can use the same approach with paid advertising.
In Flamel's social ads solution, click Analyze in the top bar, then select Top Ad Library.
Top Ad Library helps you identify ads that are performing well across your advertising campaigns and locations.
Filter Top Ads
Use the available filters to narrow your results by:
Status
- Active
- Completed
- Paused
- In Progress
- With Issues
- Unknown
Results
- Clicks
- Spend
- Reach
- Impressions
- Results
- Result Rate
- Cost Per Result
- CPC
- CTR
Use these filters to answer different questions about your network.
For example:
- Which ads generated the most clicks?
- Which ads reached the most people?
- Which ads generated the most results?
- Which ads produced the strongest result rate?
- Which ads achieved a low cost per result?
- Which ads are currently active and performing well?
Turn Winning Ads Into New Campaign Ideas
Once you identify a strong-performing ad, look at the elements that made it successful.
You may find that certain:
- Offers
- Creative formats
- Images or videos
- Messages
- Calls to action
- Products or services
- Campaign themes
consistently perform well.
Use those patterns to create new playbooks, refresh existing campaigns, or give franchisees the option re opt-in to that playbook multiple times.
Repurpose Content Across Your Network
Once you've identified content that works, there are several ways to distribute the strategy across your franchise locations.
Use Templates
Turn a successful creative concept into a reusable Template that franchisees can customize with their own local information and media.
This works especially well when the design should stay consistent while the content changes by location.
Use Broadcasts
Use Broadcasts when you want to send content or a marketing message to multiple workspaces at once.
This is useful for network-wide campaigns where every location should receive the same starting point.
Create a Post Idea
If the original post shouldn't be copied exactly, turn the successful concept into a Post Idea.
For example, instead of sharing a specific franchisee's "Meet Our Team" post, create a Post Idea for:
Introduce a team member and share what makes your local team special.
Each franchisee can then create its own localized version.
Use Platform Account Media to Find Local Creative Faster
When building ads for multiple franchise locations, finding the right local images and videos can take time.
Platform Account Media makes it easier to use media that already exists on a franchisee's connected social accounts when creating ads.
This is especially useful for agencies or Hub teams managing advertising across a large network. Instead of searching for local creative outside of Flamel, you can find a location's existing social media content directly while building its ad.
Platform Account Media can be used in two ways:
Use Local Media Directly
Use a franchisee's existing image or video as the creative for an ad.
This can be useful when a location has already posted high-quality local content that would work well in a paid campaign.
Add Local Media to a Hub-Created Template
If the Hub has created an ad template for a Playbook, you can use a franchisee's local media as the background while keeping the Hub's design and messaging consistent.
For example, the Hub could create a template with an approved promotional overlay, while each location supplies its own local photo or video.
This gives you the combination of network-wide brand consistency + location-specific creative.
How to Use Platform Account Media
First, open the location's workspace and opt in to the Playbook you want to use.
Then, when you reach the media section of the ad:
Use an Image or Video Requirement
Click Upload Media.
Open your Media Library.
Find the local image or video you want to use.
Select it to continue building the ad.
Use Local Media in a Template
This workflow lets an agency or Hub team quickly find location-specific creative without having to collect and organize media manually for every franchisee.
Select Overlay.
Click Change Background.
Go to Accounts.
Find the location's account-specific media.
Select the image or video you want to use.
Crop the media as needed.
Click Done.
Continue building the rest of the ad.
Build a Repurposing Workflow
A simple workflow for franchise networks is:
1. Find what's working
Review Top Content and Top Ad Library to identify strong-performing content and ads.
2. Identify the pattern
Look beyond the individual post or ad and determine what made it successful.
3. Turn it into a repeatable idea
Create a Template, Post Idea, Broadcast, or Playbook based on the successful concept.
4. Localize it
Give franchisees room to use their own offers, messaging, images, videos, and other local details.
5. Use existing local media
Use Platform Account Media to quickly find creative from the franchisee's connected social accounts.
6. Measure the results
Return to your analytics to see how the repurposed content performs across locations.
This creates a continuous loop:
Find what works → Repurpose it → Localize it → Measure it → Find what works next.
Tips for Repurposing Content
- Replicate the strategy, not necessarily the exact post. What works for one location may need to be adapted for another market.
- Give franchisees a starting point. Hub-provided templates and ideas can make proven strategies easier to execute.
- Keep local creative local. A franchisee's own photos, videos, team members, and community content can make a network-wide strategy feel more authentic.
- Compare multiple locations. A content idea that performs well across several workspaces is a stronger candidate for network-wide adoption.
- Look at efficiency, not just volume. High impressions or spend don't automatically mean an ad is successful. Consider engagement rate, CTR, cost per result, and other efficiency metrics.
- Refresh winning ideas. A successful concept can often be reused with a new offer, creative asset, season, or local angle.
The goal isn't to make every franchise location post the exact same content. It's to give every location access to proven ideas, creative, and strategies they can make their own.
